Requiem and MUG's Cincinnati Bengal haul:

1-21 (21): Alec Ogletree, LB, St. Louis Rams
    117 Tackles, 1.5 Sacks, 1 Interception, 6 Forced Fumbles

    52 Receptions, 802 Yards, 2 TDs

    2-05 (37): Jonathan Cyprien, S, Jacksonville
    104 Tackles, 1 Sack, 1 Interception, 2 Forced Fumbles

3-24 (86): Giovani Bernard, RB, Cincinnati
    170 Carries, 695 Yards, 4.1 YPC, 5 TDs, 56 Receptions, 514 Yards, 3 TDs

4-33 (130): Zaviar Gooden, LB, Tennessee
12 Tackles ** Played in 2 games due to injury

    7-22 (228): Eric Martin, DE/LB, Cleveland
    8 Tackles

7-34 (240): Rogers Gaines, OT, Chicago
    Chicago Bears Practice Squad

    7-41 (247): Cody Davis, S, St. Louis
    5 Tackles

7-45 (251): Michael James, RB, Tampa Bay
    60 Carries, 295 Yards, 4.9YPC, 10 Receptions, 43 Yards

    UDFAs:

    Colby Cameron, QB, Louisiana Tech
** Signed by Carolina after the draft, but waived before the season, does not appear to have been picked up.

    Akeem Shavers, RB, Purdue
**Signed by TB after the draft, released, signed by the Pats, then released again, does not appear to have been picked up.

    Lucas Reed, TE, New Mexico
**Signed by Denver after the draft, later released, does not appear to have been picked up.

    Chris Hubbard, OG, Pittsburgh
    Pittsburgh Steelers Practice Squad

    PJ Lonergan, OC, LSU
**Signed by Chicago after the draft, later released, does not appear to have been picked up.

    John Lotulelei, LB, Jacksonville
    9 Tackles, 1 Forced Fumble

    Jamaal Johnson Webb, OT, Buffalo
Started on the Bears Practice Squad, then to the Cardinals, and ended the year on the Bills Practice Squad.

    Adam Replogle, DT, Atlanta

    Kemal Ishmael, S, Atlanta
Deep reserve Safety for the Falcons, only played a handful of snaps, no stats.

    Jeff Locke, P, Minnesota
    75 Punts, 44.2 AVG

Requiem killed it with the early round picks. Gooden got hurt in camp, came back as the starter at WILL, and reinjured himself after two games. All the 7th Rounders made teams, Mike James looked like a stud until he got injured while filling in for Doug Martin. Had a few steals in Free Agency with Locke and Johnson, with 9 total Free Agents making NFL clubs. 4 others were signed after the draft then cut, and one complete whiff with Rallis.

So, in GM land, the Bengals came away with talent at:

    Offense
    WR - Hopkins
    RB - Bernard, James, Johnson
    OG - Hubbard
    OT - Gaines, Johnson-Webb

    Defense
    DT - Replogle
LB - Ogletree, Gooden, Martin, Lotulelei
    CB - Price, Cromartie
    S - Cyprien, Davis, Ishmael

    Special Teams
    P - Locke

lol, we were doing it at the same time.

Yeah man, you killed it early, no doubt. I'm pretty happy with the late round guys and FA finds.

I'm hoping to get a team, not your Bengals, this year from the beginning. Was a lot of fun last year, first time ever actually playing one of these. Way more fun than grading them for sure.

A couple of my worthy opponents..... Loved your first 4 picks...as well as the Mike James pick (I'm a hurricane fan, so I'm biased.)

Here's how "my" Pittburgh Steeler did in OM Mock Draft 2013:

1-15 (015): Jarvis Jones, OLB, Georgia: 8 starts, 40 tackles, 1 sack for the Steelers. Meh.
2-18 (048): Barrett Jones, OC/OG/OT, Alabama: 0 starts, only active for 4 games for the Rams. Ouch.
4-15 (112): Earl Wolff, S, North Carolina State: 6 starts, 45 tackles, 1 INT for the Eagles.
4-18 (115): Ryan Nassib, QB, Syracuse: Made the Giants roster, backed up Eli Manning.
4-29 (126): Alvin Bailey, OG, Arkansas: Active for 14 games, logged lots of playing time for the Seahawks
5-17 (150): Josh Boyce, WR, TCU: 9 receptions, 121 yards for the Patriots before going to IR.
6-13 (181): Ty Powell, OLB, Harding: made the Bills roster, recorded 9 tackles
6-38 (206): Zac Stacy, RB, Vanderbilt: 973 yards and 7 TDs rushing, 26 for 141 and 1 TD receiving for the Rams.
7-17 (223):Miguel Maysonet, RB, Stony Brook: on the practice squad of six (6!) different teams, currently with Steelers
7-20 (226): Mark Harrison, WR, Rutgers: spent entire season on Patriots IR

UDFA: Eric Breitenstein, FB, Wofford: Did not make an NFL roster
UDFA: Jordan Roberts, RB, Charleston: Did not make an NFL roster
UDFA: Josh Hill, TE, Idaho State: 3 starts with 6 receptions and one TD for the Saints
UDFA: R.J. Mattes, OT, NC State: on Patriots practice squad
UDFA: Chris McDonald, OG, Michigan State: Did not make an NFL roster
UDFA: Ryan Schraeder, OT, Valdosta: active for 13 games, started last 4 at left tackle for the Falcons
UDFA: Taylor Reed, ILB, SMU: on Patriots practice squad
UDFA: Nick Driskill, S, Mount Union: did not make an NFL roster
UDFA: Devin Smith, CB, Wisconsin: Signed to a 2014 reserve contract with the Steelers

UDFA2: Taylor Housewright, QB, Ashland: did not make an NFL roster
UDFA2: Tyron Laughinghouse, WR, St. Augstine: did not make an NFL roster
UDFA2: Eric Rogers, WR, Cal Lutheran: did not make an NFL roster
UDFA2: Marquis Jackson, DE, Portland State: did not make an NFL roster
UDFA2: Dave Kruger, DE/DT, Utah: did not make an NFL roster
UDFA2: Matt Evans, ILB, New Hampshire: did not make an NFL roster
UDFA2: Paul Worrilow, ILB, Delaware: 12 start and 127 tackles (12th in the league) for the Falcons
UDFA2: Dexter Davis, OLB, Friends: did not make an NFL roster
UDFA2: Dustin Harris, CB, Texas A&M: did not make an NFL roster
UDFA2: Ryan McWethey, S, Wisconsin: did not make an NFL roster

Overall, I drafted 16 players who made rosters or practice squads in 2013, and had 6 players who started at least one game. I also had contenders for both offensive rookie of the year (Stacy) and defensive rookie of the year (Worrilow).

If only my top two draft picks had played better, I'd be a lot happier with this draft class, but still....not too shabby.

I am just sad about the big talent gap there is in CB this year after the top two or three guys. Denver is going to have to move up to get a young corner worth a hoot because they would be reaching in other rounds outside the first if Gilbert and Dennard are gone.

I think a guy we could realistically look at is Bradley Roby, he was probably a top 20 selection if he came out last year, but returned and had a somewhat down year, and by that, he still had a great year. I'd lump him in with that top tier. There's also 4 other CBs I could see make a run at the Top 40, which would put them in play around our selections.

                          (1) Gilbert
                          (2) Dennard

                          (3) Roby
                          (4) Joyner (value his versatility and cover skills as a unique player in our secondary)

                          (5) Verrett
                          (6) Roberson

CB that probably will go in the first 64 selections. I think there is some potential to move up. I want to watch more of Vic Hampton. There are a lot of interesting 3-4 options. I would like to see Denver invest its first four selecitons (if they do not get more picks or move up) on two DB, a LB and DE.
