                  I'm talking about in football. I can't remember the last time I saw someone have their season ended due to broken ribs and a punctured lung. It happens but it isn't nearly as common as blown out knees or the like.

                    Didn't Romo have that happen and stayed in the game to lead a comeback in either 2012 or last year?

                    Still, that would be the only other time I've heard of it in football, so yes it is pretty rare.

                      That knee to the rib cage was brutal.
