Minimizing his impact will be a key to getting them in obvious passing situations, where KC is weakest. Containing Alex Smith from scrambling will be just as important.

The Chiefs pressure scheme means there will be small windows available for quick hits and yards after catch. Denver needs to focus and play better, especially on first down, which Adam Gase says has been a point of emphasis this week.

Alex Smith was sacked four times at home last week and lost another starter from a pretty below average line. Look for Denver to capitalize and put pressure on Smith.

We need to continue to take the ball away, and more importantly, protect the ball. Limiting opportunities for the Chiefs to hang around is important, and good preparation for going to Seattle.

    Gene's Orbit Space

14 Sep. 1968 In a significant first, the Soviet Union sent its Zond 5, lunar mission capsule around the Moon and brought it back safely to Earth. This was an unpiloted test of the system.

Portis. Awesome. Check the little box ticker on top right. I remember all the anxious waiting for the broncos score to come by every minute.

It would be sweet if the Broncos and Chiefs battled for the belt every game. I can see Manning running onto the field pre-game to the 50 yard line flexing wearing the belt letting everyone know who holds the belt.
