                      Yep. The PFT comments surprise me a little. Mostly, defending AP saying kids are better off being punished. Not that I stand on one side or the other here...obviously there is a lot of "it all depends" to consider, but I am a little surprised still.

                      I am all for discipline, just in my case with 4 daughters all teens or above...a switch has nothing on "give me your phone".

                        If this is true I've lost all respect for AP. Hitting on children? That's pathetic.

                        It confuses children when parents hit them. It does more psychological damage than good. I hope this isn't true.

                              If it really is because of a switch then 75% of the Moms & Dads & grandmas & grandpas in the South are about to get their paperwork too.
