Thanks for all the great memories Champ .. like that INT of Brady on the goal line and the almost taking it to the house run back in the 2005 AFC playoff game.

Class act all the way, it must be hard for a guy of his skill level to recognize when the fat lady has finally sung. He is loaded for life I would imagine as he doesnt seem like a guy who would have blown all is considerable money so go enjoy your life and see you on the talk circuit before long and your HOF speech in five years Champ ... you've earned it all and a good life from here on out!

Can we sign him to a one day deal so he can retire as a Bronco?

Since he didn't make a team, if no one else picks him up, he technically will have a retired a Bronco.

Sounds like he was hurt for most of camp which made it impossible for him to really compete/be trusted for starting gig. And he isn't a special teams guy, so tough to give him a reserve spot.

He did apparently play in the last couple preseason games. I would be surprised if he doesn't get at least one more shot this year when a starting CB gets injured somewhere. But it does seem the end is nigh.

I'd take him at the vet minimum over Tony f'ing Carter.

He is way better at covering the bench the Carter is at this point of his career.
