              Yes, Eagles are looking to replace Henery and McManus is a local product who they liked (Temple University).

              He made a 46 and 47 yarder in preseason and has strong leg. Mostly all touchbacks on kickoffs AND he can punt pretty well too!

                Better than picking up a higher priced vet, imo. If a veteran like Feely is on the roster week 1, their salary counts for the whole season.

                McManus is probably much cheaper than any street vet they could bring in.

                          Don’t be surprised if McManus also is claimed on waivers. Via the New York Times, McManus has made a 75-yard field goal in practice, and his kickoffs routinely exit the end zone with 10 yards to spare.
