    Wow.... idiocy all around

"I have done nothing to offend the law of the constitution of the United States of America"

That dude is a drunk idiot, though.

He was drunk but he wasn't (from the small clip we saw) doing anything that warranted being shoved. Sounds like Frank D. Azar is going to get paid by the city police.

The kid is an idiot. But the cop assaulted him where he posed no threat. Don't know if he was arrested, but miranda rights weren't read... and "you didn't listen, did you?" just REEKS of power tripping.

I think most people will side with the cop since that kid is so annoying

Hard to tell from that video. Given what we can see, though, getting shoved like that should warrant an investigation, and potentially get the cop fired.

"This is an illegal reprimandation of a US citizen"

Those people telling him to shut up.... those were his friends.

I'm assuming it's a drunk and disorderly case where the Ballpark Staff asked for him to be escorted off. If that's the case, he could definitely be escorted off, and force could be necessary if he was resisting. Didn't look like he was resisting from the video, though.

I mean the guy is clearly drunk, obviously lying about the "3 beers" he claims to have had. I guess he is in violation of a public intoxication, but did nothing to warrant being shoved like that. Interested to see what comes of this.

There is no law against public intoxication in Colorado.

That said, while the force is probably a bit much I think the cop is going to be fine. He issued a (likely) lawful order ("sit down") and the idiot kid refused.

True. More than anything I'm embarrassed - for both of these people and that they're connected to Colorado. A friend of mine posted something that I certainly agree with: it would take a hell of a lot more than three beers for me to enjoy a baseball game.

I'm having a hard time seeing anything but jerk cop abusing his authority here. The kid is clearly intoxicated, but from what is seen in this video, he's hardly a danger to anyone. He's just a punk kid who knows his rights, and that's what set the cop off.

Cops don't have any authority to force people to sit down who are not under arrest. There's nothing lawful about him "ordering" someone to sit down and then shoving them down when they don't comply.

                            Gotcha. Didn't know that.

Dude in the video is a tool who sounds like he must have gotten a well earned 'B' in his Intro to Criminal Justice class at the local community college.

The cops didn't need to get that physical with him, but the kid is a doucher for sure.
