  • Matt Paradis - OC - Boise

John seemed to like this kid a lot. Watching some film on this guy, he looks much better than I thought. Heavy hands, good working off to the 2nd level, very solid form to anchor in pass protection. I am surprised and excited about our two additions on this front.

I like the Schofield selection, have you watched any on him?

I like both OL picks, both guys seem like hard nosed guys with nasty streaks. I bet Gibbs scouted them out more than anyone else within the org so that's reassuring since he's got a nice track record for middle to late round success in developing talent at the position.

I really like this pick in the 6th. Would hate to pick any center prior to the 4th round just because it is such a boring position(although very important). If he makes the team, and all he does is provide depth the first couple of years while learning, he was a good pick.

Seems both OL picks were flexible and possess mean streaks.

He's going to have a long-shot chance to make the team. With Ramirez and Montgomery ahead of him he's going to have to really shine.

Is he homosexual though? If not, media will not approve.

Paradis showed the ability to combo block and block on multiple levels in preseason. He's smart and mobile. That's why I was excited about him, and tagged both Paradis and Garcia with Pro Bowl potential. Though Paradis has had trouble at times adjusting to the pure brute strength of some NFL DT's, and A-gap blitzes, he's already playing at least at an average level and is easily the best Broncos Center prospect since Nalen.
