Seahawks wanted him and he never would have made it to them on waivers. Trading a 7th for him makes total sense and the Raiders are still terrible at everything.
The Seahawks acquired someone who has started multiple NFL games, and all they had to give up was a (virtually) worthless 7th-round pick. I see no problem with this...
The hawks did well in this trade. You trade essentially a nothing pick for a legit back up who is young and you can mold in case Wilson goes down.
Plus he's on a cheap contract.
