It really doesn't matter if Von returns until about Week 13, really. It would be nice to get him a couple of games to get ready for the playoffs. But it's not like we need him for the season. We did go undefeated without him last year.

Dude came off an administrative suspension 15 pounds overweight, was not in shape, carrying a spare tire, after seven games bang he has an ACL. Von stated before his suspension, "During my time off the field, I will work tirelessly and focus exclusively on remaining in peak shape."

Instead he shows up fat and out of shape, so I'm not seeing how the light goes on all of a sudden for a guy coming off of an ACL last December 22nd. I'll be surprised if Von is much of a factor until late next year, and that depends on if they prematurely try to start him.
    Fat? Light On?

Last year was a messy affair for Miller. After serving a six-game suspension to open the campaign, the Broncos pass rusher blew out his knee three days before Christmas. What he accomplished in between is why he tops our list: Despite missing those six starts, Miller led all players at his position with 27 quarterback hurries before his season was cut short. An underrated run-stopper and outstanding cover man, Miller also topped all starting outside 'backers with just 23 yards allowed after the catch. He's shed 20 pounds and told reporters this week that he's "100 percent positive" he'll be ready for camp. Miller is primed for a monster year.

He was productive. Yes he didn't have the sacks he had the year before and that may have been some of the muscle he gained but none the less, he was a good player during the short time he was in there. Let's not make this out to be like he was some bum on the field who didn't do anything.

Von wont be special next yr. It takes a full yr to recover from a torn ACL. Peterson about the only one who seemed to not need that much time.

If Von could be close to 100% by the playoffs that would be huge. That is a possibility if he doesn't rush back too soon.

I did not click on the link: where was Ronnie Hillman on the list; near the top?

I wonder how committed to the team Von is, I hope he's not a Ricky Williams.
Ricky Williams was plenty committed to the game when he was on the field. He just didn't care about football culture. And why should he?

No. I think of a pornstar when you say that. I'd post a pic but don't want to get kicked off the mane.
