Congrats on the book - as stated earlier, it's always cool to see people from here out there "doing life"!

Make a specific twitter page for it and then search and add people through keywords.

Example, when I published my USMC memoir book, I made this:

https://twitter.com/Welcome_ToHell_

Then setup a system so it automatically DMs new followers with a message and a link to the purchase site.

Then search applicable keywords (in my case it wase "USMC" "USMC vet" "USMC GF" "USMC wife" "semperfi" and so on) and added people. People get the new follower notification, get excited and see who it is and now your twitterpage/massive advertisement is right in their face.

I stopped after 3k because I got bored, but it worked really well.

Going on national shows with big primary demographic audiences like Fox News probably helped a lot more, though.

I am new to twitter and don't really "like" social media, but in order to do something big nowadays, I had to join! Thanks for the "basic plan" on getting started on twitter, I'm following you now!
