I met Roger last month at JLL Academy in Orlando - great guy and still makes time for football fans. His brokerage is a tribute to how a true american business should be grown and many of his original brokers are still with him - fidelity in his firm is amazing...unlike any other real estate firm on the globe. Just goes to show you what can happen if you aren't a greedy SOB.
Proud that Elway is there also - he seems to mirror similar character and forthrightness as Roger as well. Peyton will be the wealthiest by the time he retires - another great guy that puts in the work and isn't shortsighted like most wealthy athletes.

It's kind of sad. Football players play the most brutal sport with insane popularity but even the top guys don't get compensated like the stars of a bunch of other sports.

I think the brutality of Football is the very reason they don't get European Soccer Money. Players as a whole in the NFL are riskier investments.
I don't think this list is accurate. Elway is only worth $50m at this point. And, Madden only worth $200m. Really? Come on now!
When Elway sold his car dealerships to Wayne Hizanga (spelling is wrong but he was the owner of the Dolphins) he sold them for like $80m, however, is ex wife got a lot of that money because she was very much involved with that whole deal. However, it sounds like Elway has managed to keep growing his money in new car dealerships and restaurants and I'm guessing other things like real estate and such.
