    Spikes to Buffalo

well, trust in Elway i guess.

It makes sense especially if we have more players that we are targeting. We were pretty damn stout against the run this past year (i think) and in passing situations we have Miller and Trevathan anyway.

there is still time for the draft or they can pick up a steady, cheap vet like Hardy Nickerson

IMO this is a real F up... MLB is a much more critical position that SS. Irving is more OM fodder, nothing else.

There's still a draft in May. We don't have to just sign free agents to fill needs. We can use a high draft pick for somebody better Spikes or Smith.

That's fine and all but what recent MLB's not named Patrick Willis have performed at a high level in their rookie year? Remember Elway's moves are all for SB this year and not 3 years down the road.

Not really, at least not in our D.

Everything is built around the pass rushers and the coverage. The DL is great at run stuffing. It would be nice to have a top flight MLB but it is not like we are leaving the middle of the field for an MLB to lock down like in a cover 2.

Hoping we can get buy with Irving but we will see.

No it is not. Ward was a home run and cost very little relative to his skills.
We can get a MLB in the draft.
You can only address so much in one off-season of FA. We still need another CB as well.

It won't be Irving. Dunno who it will be, but Irving couldn't do it to the point where brooking and Lenon were needed. Maybe a rookie

Fox and Del Rio just do not value MLBs in their system. That's something that everyone needs to just get used to.

Yeah it was that critical we made it to the Superbowl with a 36 year old MLB starting who's been average all of his career.

I think Fox valued Beason and JDR paid a lot of money for that turd Posluszny, 6yrs $45m.

Maybe they'll bring Bradley back, ducks for cover.

Wasn't he looking pretty good before his injury?
