  • Alex Gibbs out.

I figured this deserved its own thread, considering his history with the team.

NFL free agency has opened and sure enough the Broncos made two additions. To their coaching staff.

The Broncos hired James Cregg to be their assistant offensive line coach and Bo Hardegree as their offensive quality control coach. Dave Magazu remains the lead offensive line coach.

Veteran offensive line coach Alex Gibbs, who served as an offensive line consultant with the Broncos last season, will not return.

Hope it was amicable. I'll always love Gibbs for helping create those glory days with TD.

Gibbs has never met a job he didn't want to retire from after one year.

Curious to see how the new guys we brought in do. Painter is a guy I really want to see on the roster.

Forgive me, but wasn't Gibbs just a part-time consultant and already kind of semi-retired already? I love him for the glory years o-line but I don't think his departure is big news TBH....

He couldn't do crap for Zane. I thought Beadles would improve greatly under Gibbs, but didn't improve at all.

Hope these dudes learned the stretch zone real well. Ball started to get good at it by the end of the season.
