  • Zane Beadles, Wesley Woodyard to leave Broncos via NFL free agency

Zane Beadles, a four-year starting offensive guard, will not be returning to the Broncos.

Beadles has narrowed his options to the Jacksonville Jaguars and one other team, according to an NFL source. The NFL free-agent market is open for signing at 2 p.m. Tuesday.

Broncos linebacker and five-time co-captain Wesley Woodyard also will be playing elsewhere in 2014. Woodyard is visiting with the New England Patriots on Tuesday, but also has drawn interest from several other teams including the Tennessee Titans.

Meanwhile, the Broncos continued talks Tuesday morning with the agent of cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie.

How incredibly depressing. You're going from a good shot to play in another Super Bowl, to, at the very best, losing more than you win. Enjoy Jacksonville, Zane!

Beadles is going to get his **** pushed in down in Jacksonville

Woodyard was a good one for us, but ultimately doesn't fit given the emergence of Trevathan

I would rather him not sign with NE, but whatever

We must be really lowballing Zane for him to wind up leaving. The dude is from Utah and loves it in Denver.

I'm guessing that Elway is tired of watching his left guard get blown off of the line of scrimmage when he's not pulling. I haven't seen a single source yet that says the Broncos wanted or tried to keep him.

I'm sad to see Woodyard go. Beadles, well, not so much.

Same. I got to meet WW at a school thing for my kid last year, he was so good to the kids and just seems like a good dude.

Will miss his fire, even if his play dipped this season. Easy guy to root for.

Beadles is inconsistent and overrated. While not a bad player, he's not that great and we won't miss him. Woodyard is a Will and needs to go somewhere that needs a Will. We aren't that team.

Time to draft homegrown Weston Richburg out of CSU. That guy played the entire line and even snapped left handed when he broke his right.
