    You're pretty much right about that. Obviously our whole team had issues, especially on defense, but there were many times our rookie corners ran players down from behind because he let them loose. He hasn't always been terrible, and a change of scenery could do him well, but I certainly won't be sad to see him go.

    This was exactly how he played all year long. He's never been a good tackler, takes some terrible angles, and has been opportunistic with interceptions. When that last one went away, he became one of the worst safeties in the league.

    Hmm, honestly would prefer Delmas but if we are going to take a S in the 4th or so I could see Decoud working on a 2 year deal.

    Not in my opinion you don't, but you can bring him in to compete. If he's not OK with that, you move on.

    The problem is, do you make this move in lieu of a more definitive updgrade and then end up weak at the position if it doesn't work out? Like they did with Joe Mays and then Stewart Bradley at MLB?

    This is actually the type of low risk, high reward signing I'd be okay with, as long as he's willing to pay on a one year, low money contract.
