28 year old former Pro Bowl Safety who was on a disaster of a team last year....

I'd be on board with him being signed. I'm sure he wants to get paid again so he'll want to earn it.

People forget that DRC looked bad his last year in Philly and was on a disaster of a team much like Atlanta was last year after high expectations. He could be worth a prove it one year deal.

DRC showed improvement after a bad showing on a bad team. But I'd rather get a vet MLB and look for safety in the draft.

Edit. Beat me to it mountain.

Some no-name FS that got a pro-bowl one year and posted a horrid -16 on PFF last year.

And so begins the flood of "bring him in" for any position of need.

Interesting. I wasn't even being sarcastic.

This is actually the type of low risk, high reward signing I'd be okay with, as long as he's willing to pay on a one year, low money contract.

The problem is, do you make this move in lieu of a more definitive updgrade and then end up weak at the position if it doesn't work out? Like they did with Joe Mays and then Stewart Bradley at MLB?
