  • Delmas?

Just released from the Lions, he'd be an upgrade over what we currently have.

Delmas in an intriguing name, he's a good leader in their secondary, but he's had injury problems. He made it through the entire season, so he could be worth a look over.

It's a cap casualty. They were over it and it saves them about 6 mil.

Could it be because they have cap issues and Suh wants a raise? It has nothing to do with Caldwell and he's a piss poor coach.

Loved Delmas coming out. He is in the middle-top tier Safety FA class so I wonder what his value will be...

He has one SB ring as the QB coach in Indy in 2006. He has 2 SB appearances, but is a joke of a head coach, coordinator, and even position coach.

                Yup.

It’s the salary cap that will be more problematic for GM Martin Mayhew, who has a budget operating about $5 million in the red before he re-signs any of his team’s 21 potential free agents. Of those, DE Willie Young, CB Rashean Mathis and RFA RB Joique Bell would be toughest to replace.

He played the entire 2013 season though. I do agree that he has had serious durability concerns though.

Delmas was slated to make $6.5 million against the cap next season.

While he played all 16 games for the Lions in 2013, he was usually on a practice regimen where he would miss two days of practice a week and be able to play in games on Sundays to save his ailing knees.

The 26-year-old Delmas was selected by the Lions in the second round of the 2009 draft. In his five seasons with the team, he played in 65 games, making 328 tackles, intercepting six passes and recording five sacks.

true but the Lions also play on turf, grass is more forgiving.

Caldwell was also 2-14 without him. Fox scrapped an 8-8 record with 2 of the worst QBs in the history of the game. McDaniels has SB rings too. Yet he's an idiot.

1 in Indy, 1 in Baltimore as OC.

Delmas scares me health wise. It would be like Bob Sanders in Indy all over again.
When he's on the field he's a dynamic player but can he stay healthy enough to warrant the roster spot?
