  • Being a Broncos fan is tough business

They say god hates Cleveland, but being a broncos fan is the worst. 78 Super Bowl, the 80s blowouts, 96 against Jax, first team to start 6-0 and not make the playoffs, first team to blow a 3 game lead at the end of the season and not make the playoffs, Rahim Moore, and now this
And I'm sure I'm missing some.

And people wonder why broncos fans are pessimistic. So depressing

I think Broncos fans are pretty spoiled. The 2010 season was one year. Other than that, Denver has been consistently competitive going back to the John Ralston days.

FUnny, i just told my daughter 'welcome to the world of being a bronco fan'. Feels a lot like the 42-10 pasting v Skins.

Only difference is that the pain in SB 22 was condensed into one quarter. I'm not sure which is better - that or what we're witnessing today.

            It's bad either way.

Yes, we tend to be consistently competitive in the regular season. I think the one thing that being a Bronco fan (lived through all the 80s Super Bowl disasters) is that when the post-season arrives, I'm always wondering in the back of my mind if we're as good as our record, especially if we make the Super Bowl.

The Super Bowl victories in the mid/late-nineties helped to clear up that neurosis but today raised some old demons: paper tigers -- err... Broncos -- once again.

I've seen every Super Bowl win or loss since the 80's and it never gets easier. In fact, the older I get the harder it gets. I know the opportunity to see them win another SB in my lifetime is getting slimmer with each passing year.

At least their second wasn't embarrassing.

Eh, we've had it better then a lot of teams. Got to have the bad losses, to really appreciate the great wins.

Sucks right now, tho for sure.

These Super Bowl embarrasments are hard to deal with, but I have to agree with some. At least the Broncos are competitive most years and they have two Super Bowl wins. Most Chiefs fans don't even know what it is like to watch your team in the Super Bowl. Hats off to Seattle, their fans had a long wait for this and I have a feeling they might not be done.

Supporting us is the equivalent of hooking up with Mila Kunis, bringing her home, taking her to bed and having her laugh at your dick.
