Look , we got the NFC west on our schedule next year and if we make it back to the Super Bowl we could very well see Seattle again. We need to match their physicality and we can't do that with Welker. We need to be looking at big Tight Ends in the draft and free agency and putting in 2 TE sets into our offense.

Sorry, but when your first play of the game is that, it isn't because of Seattle's toughness. As the game goes on, sure, but that play set the tone that they never seemed to recover from since most of the players looked and played the same.

He has an 8m cap hit and 2m in dead money ie if he's cut we save 6m

Seattle may have been the better team anyway, but the Broncos looked and played scared and made it easy for Seattle.

The only way Welker is gone is if Manning retires

    That's right.

If we cut him I believe we still lose 2 million in dead money...so we gain 6.

Welker is staying for another year.

Decker sucks, at least Welker maxes out his potential. Yeah a couple drops but no MIA performances like the pretty boy.

No I'm not blaming welker, but he's no 8m player. We need to build a team to beat these guys next year.
