Yeah I'm not sure how welker is the scapegoat. They just kicked our ass and we picked the worst day to have our worst game in 2 years. Between the two, you get 50-8 or whatever

No I'm not blaming welker, but he's no 8m player. We need to build a team to beat these guys next year.

Contract was 2/12, but $4.something million this year and $8 next.

Decker sucks, at least Welker maxes out his potential. Yeah a couple drops but no MIA performances like the pretty boy.

We didn't pick this day to have our worst game. The Seahawks picked this day, outmatched us and the bully gave us a beating. Frankly, we didn't have much to do with it because the Seahawks dictated every phase of the game.

                  That's right.

If we cut him I believe we still lose 2 million in dead money...so we gain 6.

Welker is staying for another year.

I disagree with that in that what did Seattle have to do with Holiday trying to run the opening back that deep in the end zone? Or better yet, what did Seattle have to do with Ramirez snapping the ball over Manning's head, which never happened during the season? Seattle may have been the better team anyway, but the Broncos looked and played scared and made it easy for Seattle.

The only way Welker is gone is if Manning retires

This is a team sport. Many times the guy on the other side of the line is the cause of your misfortunes - yes this can expose your weaknesses and cause you to look scared in the way you play. In the big scheme of things the Ramirez snap was inconsequential.

He has an 8m cap hit and 2m in dead money ie if he's cut we save 6m

Sorry, but when your first play of the game is that, it isn't because of Seattle's toughness. As the game goes on, sure, but that play set the tone that they never seemed to recover from since most of the players looked and played the same.
