  • Is Pot Roast Keith Traylor 2.0 ?

Was thinking about this the other day then I watch NFL NETWORKs

97 & 98 Broncos and see Traylor living in the backfield down the stretch

of our playoff run. That defense back then played over their heads and

    rose to the occasion.

I believe we are watching a repeat of history.

This defense is poised to be the equal of the best offense in the NFL.

    Pot Roast meet beast mode.

    GO BRONCOS !

I would love to Mr Pot Roast let Wilson feel his weight, similar to how RGIII did.

And Shaun Phillips is this years Neil Smith. #90, formerly with a division rival.

I always cringe comparing one guy to another from the same organization historically for the mere fact that Traylor helped us to 2 super bowls wins. I hope we can say this about Pot Roast by the time his contract ends after next season and we're forced to pay him $$$$.

Pot Roast is far more athletic than Traylor was. Traylor was a run stopping force, but very one dimensional. Pot Roast can get occasional pressure on the QB as well.

Traylor was pretty dang athletic. He wasnt an amazing pass rusher, but he came into the league as a linebacker. I think the comparison is apt.

The only thing they have in common is their skin color.

Denver beat both Smith's and Phillips's respective former teams in the first playoff game, too.

I was going to say Wes Welker but OK, we can go with that. Never heard before at the Mane....like ever.

Neither Welker nor Decker compares favorably to McCaffrey.

Well position they play is common and they both are good run blockers.
