Reid inherited a lot if not the most pro bowlers in the AFC.

He also won Playmate of the Year in "Fatass, Walrus Looking Mother****er's" magazine.

        Congrats coach.

Reid assembled a team that could execute a limited game plan and stay in games late. If they upgrade their WR's and OL they can improve on the dink and dunk success Smith is still too inaccurate down field to do it consistently. They need too much on the Defensive side of the ball to be much more than 8-8 next year especially with SD improving.

Kind of odd that Chip Kelly was able to come in and get Reid's old team just as far. I would have given it to Belly or Rico but kFc was a media favorite all year.

same with reid. he will transform one of the leagues top 3 RBs into just another receiver.
buy stock in twinkies and catsup and stay tuned.

When you coach the greatest defense in the history of the NFL you deserve coach of the year.

Although that doesn't explain how Reid got it...

This year they would see that they only beat the Eagles and a bunch of garbage teams. That's with the benefit of an amazingly favorable schedule, including an outrageous number of games with teams playing 2nd and 3rd string QBs (including 2 rookie UDFAs in their first NFL games). As soon as they actually faced some adversity they dropped every game against any team that wasn't in the bottom 5% of the league.
All of that is true. Although I would add that KC didn't deserve 6 Pro Bowlers last year. They have talent, but almost all of their best defensive players took a nose dive production wise once the Chiefs played better teams. Sure, there was more to work with then a typical 2-14 team and KC did upgrade the most important position (went from God awful to average/above average at QB).

Still, when you go from the complete embarrassment of the NFL, to a team that was competitive with the majority of games and have a 9 game improvement, you're going to win some awards.
