The Browns are chronic. They desperately need a Bill Parcells-type presence to turn that franchise around, and there just aren't any Bill Parcells available. It's dumbfounding how the Browns can draft in the top five-10 every single year and can't field a talent base to win. It's remarkable in a bad way.

Well letting Matt Millen do the picking for half a decade is a good start.

If Belly makes mCd turn it down you know it is a bad place to go.
Both the Browns and Vikings are terrible jobs. Neither has a franchise quarterback. Both teams have major uphill climbs in their divisions. (Although Caldwell going to Detroit certainly helps, lol.) And in the case of Cleveland, do you want to work for a guy that might fire you after one year if you don't win right away?
Have to think Gase will be flattered by the interest but ultimately decide to stay. First HC job or not, he'd be crazy to leave PFM for one of those tire fires. He's still young and has plenty of time. The interest will always be there after what he's done this year, and he can afford to wait a year or two until a better job opens up where he actually has a chance to win.
