  • HOF never ceases to amaze

I've always been a fan of John Lynch but how does he make the HOF cut to become a semifinalist over Atwater. I'm more surprised that I'm surprised. It is the HOF.

If you stay in the media eye people mis-remember you. I think Lynch deserves to go, but not in front of Atwater. Their games are comparable. But Lynch was on one of the greatest defenses of all time and he is in broadcasting so he's fresh in their minds.

Atwater > Lynch, and it's not even close. As usual, HoF is a joke.

I think it's pretty obvious that guys like Davis and Atwater won't be admitted to the HoF until most of the people who remember them are dead.

            Usual East Coast bias.

I'm starting to think that Peyton Manning may have hurt his chances for admission. Even after breaking all kinds of season and career records, and even if he wins a super bowl for Denver, there will be a hefty HoF discount among the voters.

            Because, you know, it's Denver.

I'm kinda suprised to see Andre Reed and Kevin Greene. I thought they were great players, but I didn't think they should go in before Atwater!

The greatest playoff running back of all time can't get into the HoF, but fatass Jerome Bettis will. What a joke.

They need to separate out non-players.

And the voting needs to be opened up to more than just 44 retards who fell back into sports "journalism"

Also, Morten Anderson is a finalist over TD and Atwater. A kicker.

The HOF becomes more and more of a joke to me with every passing year.
