  • Broncos sign 5

    http://blogs.denverpost.com/broncos/...ntracts/24646/

Looks like we are raiding the Browns again...

I don't watch much college ball, anyone on this list to get excited about?

Mike Farrell, OL, 6-6, 303 pounds: Farrell went undrafted out of Penn State in 2012, and he was signed briefly by the Steelers over the summer before being cut in August.

L.J. Fort, LB, 6-0, 230 pounds: Fort went undrafted out of Northern Iowa in 2012. He signed as a free agent with the Browns and made the active roster. He finished 2013 with 20 tackles.

Eric Hagg, S, 6-1, 205 pounds: Hagg was picked by the Browns 248th overall in 2011 out of Nebraska. He played in Cleveland in 2011 and 2012.

Ryan Miller, OL, 6-7, 320 pounds: Miller, a Littleton native, attended Colorado and was picked 160th in 2012 by the Browns. He’s played in Cleveland since.

Jordan Norwood, WR, 5-11, 180 pounds: Norwood went undrafted in 2009 out of Penn State, and he’s played for the Browns, Eagles and Buccaneers.

These were all signed to future contracts. They'll be competing in camp.

Seems to be a few interesting ones in that crop of signings.
Hopefully they develop but it would be even better if draft picks never allow them to see the light of day.

Camp fodder but just weird that 4 of 5 played in Cleveland... does this have to do with that other exec who's name I can't remember, the other drunk besides Russell that was the Cleveland GM?

Heckert does have a keen eye for talent.

Didn't Heckert come from the Browns?

Chris Harris was an unsigned player probably considered camp fodder too. Hoping our scouts have uncovered 1 or 2 jewels.
