I know many (even Peyton himself) have come out and said this will be a record that won't hold up long, but I can't help but disagree.
55 TDs, even in this pass happy league, is a LOT. You'd basically need 3 TDs a game...EVERY game and toss in a few 4 or five TD games to achieve this. If you're Peyton Manning, that's one thing. But, if you are from this planet originally? Up hill battle.

40+ TD's has only ever happened ten times in NFL history, beating 55 will not be easy. You never can tell I suppose, but I'd expect the 55 TD mark will be in the top five for a very long time, even if they do go to 18 games at some point.
He didn't just break the record this year, he crushed it.
