As much as Eric Decker is maligned for "looking for a flag instead of focusing on catching the damn ball" -- it's a fact that Brady makes a habit of screeching f-bombs shrilly (at a pitch akin to Carrie Underwood) in the face of the officials every time one of his passes falls incomplete.

AFC is such a mess right now. If Denver doesn't get their **** together the Super Bowl is going to be a blood bath. None of the other AFC playoff teams stand a chance against the teams in the NFC.

Not sure why you're perceiving the NFC as so unbeatable. Seattle's the NFC front-runner and one of the teams that beat them was AFC (Colts). Furthermore, the 2-12 Texans and 4-10 Buccaneers took them to overtime. The Saints have been soundly trounced twice in the past 3 weeks. Carolina? Didn't look so tough losing to NO while sandwiched on the schedule between 2 ignominious NO losses. SF? Also lost to the Colts and squeaked past the 5-9 Titans by 2 points. Arizona? Forget it; their 2 remaining games are Seattle and SF; they're most likely gonna lose out. There are no truly intimidating teams in the NFC North or NFC East.

and the Colts lost to the other two teams in that division, Arizona and St. Louis, what's your point?

They aren't unbeatable, but the NFC is definitely deeper than the AFC.

I think the point was that neither Arizona nor St. Louis is likely to make the playoffs, much less the SB (the post I quoted specified concerns about the AFC's chances vs the NFC in the SB); hence their records vs the AFC are pretty much irrelevant.

St. Louis at 6-8 won't make it. Arizona at 9-5, with Seattle and SF left on their schedule -- won't make it.

                          NFC playoff teams will be:

NFC East and NFC North division winners + the 10-win Saints, Panthers, 49ers and the 12-win Seahawks.

It was too easy. I almost feel guilty about it.
