  • Sign Seymour and Asomugha

"The Broncos don't have any players on the practice squad worthy of promotion, but they did sign safety Michael Huff, and a couple of intriguing veteran free agents are available. It's time for Matt Russell and Tom Heckert to make up for their follies by doing something right — calling in cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha and defensive end/tackle Richard Seymour, two former Pro Bowlers. By the first game of the playoffs, both would be ready to contribute.

In the meantime, the Broncos should move Chris Harris Jr. from nickel back to starting cornerback, where he played exceptionally for Champ Bailey last year. Harris has been the Broncos' steadiest member of the secondary. Put Quentin Jammer at nickel back, and keep Kayvon "Chestnut" Webster on the bench, alongside Tony Carter, when he returns. Huff has been in Denver long enough to play safety over Omar Bolden."

You would think someone would have signed seymour if that was really an option. There has to be more to that story.

Trevor Pryce might have a few games left in him. Like Chet Stedman in Rookie of the Year.

        "ONE MORE."

Nnamdi would be a huge upgrade over Webster IMO.

Chris Harris IS the #2 and starting corner and only kicks inside to the slot when playing against 11 personnel because he's far better at it than anyone else on the roster. Harris generally gets nearly 2x as many defensive snaps as Webster and usually more than ANY other DB.
Also not sure how he expects Woodyard, trev, and lenon to start at the same time

Denver does need to play Huff. He would be an upgrade from terrible to mediocre from Bruton, Nacho, or Boldin.

I actually think DE would be a better fit for him this season, since he bulked up. He is one of our best run defenders

Kerry Rhodes would really help out as well.

Hasn't there been talk in the past about seymour being a locker room cancer?

Gay or not, he would be an upgrade too. Sad there are 3 guys on the street right now, who are better than what we currently have

                        Looking for date?

At this point if he could be steady presence in the backfield and get it organized in timely manner he could be sleeping with Spider for all I care.

Yup Webster stinks and Seymour would be great depth

Namdi is washed up cut by a playoff team mid season. Seymour is no doubt very out of shape at this point.

That's cute some of you think that names like Asomugha and Seymour would be worthy of a roster spot at this point of the season.

There's 31 other teams in the NFL, just to let ya'll know.

Asomugha ****in sucks, and Seymour obviously isn't ready for football. We are absolutely ****ed if we sign Asomugha.
