Another cool moment, RUSH induction to RR HOF.

    Worth a watch. Short clip.

Bummer, he was a true icon on the drums and really helped Rush put it all together for some epic music and albums. He was also an avid bicyclist and traveled around the world riding his road bikes. Very sorry to hear of his passing and his fight with cancer

Also, most of us have mispronounced his name. We say Pert.....like the shampoo.

It was actually pronounced.....more like Peeeert.

That song's drummer was Rush's original drummer John Rutsey.

Moving Pictures takes me back to HS. My best friend was a drummer in band and he always talked back in the early 80's about Neil and John Bonham as the inspiration to him wanting to play the kit.

What is even more amazing is that Neil wrote the song lyrics.

Not a real Rush fan, but I can appreciate the absolute rock monsters each guy was to music and when they combined they made some of the best, most impressive music ever.
I saw them as a kid at Irvine Meadows amp when it existed and they were really impressive live.
