" Built lead passing" common assumption, today we see actual REALITY !

can they HOLD the lead by RUNNING effectively ?
First downs via the run and pass ?
      turnovers via the PASS ?
      special teams plays ?
lots of variables that go into the outcome of a game and yet...
How is it that the team that has the MOST rush attempts almost always comes out on toip ?
Because running is the lynch-pin to winning, as well as being able to STOP the run on defense.

TODAY we watch together to see REALITY at work !
not common held beliefs, but REALITY !
when it matters MOST and the teams are the BEST, those that commit to the run and out run their opponent are the ones who win the match-up !

You should make a list of the most TD passes by a team and ppg vs the run.

Everyone questions your well being when you keep pushing this BS narrative.
the biggest difference for the ravens this year is turnovers !
RAVENS will see 9 in the box to stop their run attack so they would be idiots NOT to throw the ball !
But they will throw less than 30 times and run more than 25, regardless of who they might face on their way to EARNING a lombardi by being the best running team in the NFL.

              the PLAY-OFFS !
when teams are the BEST and wins matter MOST !

Games that feature the NFL's BEST !
the place every team wants to be !

In the 1960's after vince and the boys had taken home a few trophies, they asked Lombardi about the PASSING game taking over the NFL.
The full response from vince was,
                    "As long as football is played in december, outdoors, the team that runs the ball the MOST, and stops the run;
that is the team that will be holding up the trophy. "
This was a follow up question from a member of IBM, where he was speaking,
"coach, did you mean to say the most or the best ?
Lombardi responded, "is there a difference ? "

TODAY in foxboro the pats* and Titans, play in the kind of game Vince invisioned.
the team that runs the most will win in the spirit of vince lombardi or I will suspend my posts on this thread.

What does 60s football have to do with today's game? Rules are different, players are A LOT better, there are actually analytics in use and the notion that it is hard to pass outside is as stupid as this thread.

Remember when RBs were the 2nd most important position. It wasn’t uncommon for 2 or 3 to get drafted in the top 5 back in the 1960s. The game has changed.

We going by Quarters or half of how the team gets their lead?

end of 1st Buffalo leads by passing more than rushing.

In the games that matter most, when every team must be sound in all 3 phases, that lame arse CHEF thinks that the team that has the most rush attempts will win every match-up !

There may be some crazy special teams plays or turnovers to effect the outcome, but this lame arse CHEF, just like VINCE LOMBARDI believes that in the NFL, you RUN TO WIN !

I will be posting HALF TIME RESULTS AS WELL, just to diminish the notion that teams only run when they are ahead.
just a reminder, in last years play-offs , teams that had the most rush attempts were 11 for 11 in the win column.
enjoy your hate, but mind the results.

where’s your half time results? 0-1 turnip.

Bills took their lead with more pass attempts than rush attempts.

First game right out the gate blew up in your face.
