By my reckoning (sometimes faulty) the Broncos finish 2nd in AFC West w/Raider loss here. Other than dropping that team below .500, winning also would have the guys playing the Bills not the Jets, the Steelers not Browns, Titans not Colts next year.

Now is no time to be concerned about next years match-ups.
Now is the time to focus on the 2019 raiders.

What teams look like on paper today, it’s not a guarantee that they’ll be good or worse next year.
      See Carolina, SF, Dallas, Bills.
some surprised this year, others disappointed.

What I've gotten from the team this year has improved my outlook significantly for the better.

I'd like to see the Broncos beat the ever-living dogsh*t out of the Raiders to go 7-9. I still remember so-called fans on this site hoping for a Broncos loss in Lynch vs. Mahomes at Mile High in 2016. 3 years and 3 wasted seasons later, I hope they've learned their lesson. Go Broncos!!

We need good FA's to sign with the Broncos, no more super-expensive 2nd tier guys. That starts with beating the Raiders.

I think OP is correct. If Denver beats Oakland in final game, they finish with same record,
split head to head, and have
same divisional record, but Broncos would have slightly better record against both AFC and common opponents. So Broncos would finish 2d in AFC west. Raiders 3d.

Chargers have already clinched last place in AFC West since, even if they win final game and finish 6-10 while Denver loses and also finishes 6-10, they were swept by the Broncos .

Next year is next year, though.

Right now the Broncos are already committed to playing the

                  AFC East and NFC South

                  Schedule for the 2020 season
                  Pats
                  Bills
                  Dolphins
                  Jets
                  Panthers
                  Bucs
                  Saints
                  Falcons

Last two will depend they finish...will correspond to the AFC North and AFC South.

As of now that is the
                  Bengals
                  Jags

How are all those teams going to fare in FA, draft and injuries by the time Denver plays them?

is it going to be here or there, that’s the question...

Huh? The Lynch/Mahomes loss was objectively a good thing.

No it wasn't. We've never even beat Mahomes.
