    what if he starts four weeks sooner, looks like crap because he’s not as prepared and he loses his first four starts. What does that do for us and his future?

    You can imagine all you want about the playoffs, etc but you don’t really have a leg to stand on given that it looks like he’s in a great place now.

    Practice. We're talking about practice.

    Not starting. Not playing. Practice.

    There is no coherent argument that Drew Lock developed better by not practicing. The brand of homerism required to consistently choose this logical leap is entertaining to watch at least.

    Every coach in the league prefers their players practicing vs not practicing. They have practice for a reason. Because it's what helps players get better in real world situations.

        Went 6-10 with Arod his first year starting after going to the NFCC the year before with Farve.

          Exactly, other than actual game reps, there’s nothing that equals or is better than practice reps.
