first ballot HOF and his #1 ranking in numerous catagories gives credability to his popularity.
I got him number four behind Gates, Sharp and Winslow. Tiny never even won a playoff game in the AFC West.

I'd stick them all behind Gronk too.

            1. Gronk
            2. Gonzo
            3. Gates
            4. Sharpe

Great player. The Chiefs would have been better off all those years with an elite WR.

Sharpe was a glorified WR who only started to attempt to block once Shanny started busting his chops in 1996.

                    glorified but not elite ?
TG was a great receiver who also knew how to block .
                    I understand your debate.
FANT, for now, is just a receiver.
when he devotes himself to being a TEAM player and improves his BLOCKING, then he can be considerd a TE like sharpe.

another poster called SHARPE a glorified WR, not capable of blocking, hence it reminded me of FANT
