  • Looking for a new punter - about time!

The Denver Broncos are bringing in potential competition for punter Colby Wadman, and they are bringing in former quarterback Frank Tripucka’s grandson.
Former Texas A&M punter Shane Tripucka had a tryout for the Broncos, according to Mike Klis of 9News.

In 27 games at Texas A&M, Tripucka punted 154 times for 6,826 yards. He averaged 44.3 yards per punt during his collegiate career. Tripucka was previously with the Los Angeles Chargers.
Wadman has not only been scary but ranks at or near the bottom of the 32 teams in the entire NFL!

What the **** took so damn long? Why can other teams draft or sign street FA's that do better than us when our punter should have a massive advantage at Mile High and be in the top 10 in punting?

If you listen to Tom McMahon, he says it takes 5 years to become a great punter.

So don't worry, it will all pay off in 2022!

Just cut Wadman and sign Tripucka. There’s no need for a competition.

Oh hell nah! If it takes you 5 years in the NFL then something is wrong. I could see 2-3 to be consistent and then the light turns on but 5 is BS.

Got to wonder what these ST coaches say in the hiring interviews.

year after year it’s a fail.

This is all bull****. I heard with Drew Lock, we're never punting again.

We have the worst punting coach in the league. I dont even know who it is but them changing Kings skills, and all our other guys skills. Its the worst.

McMahon's seat is probably scorching hot at this point. But regardless of coach, our coverage units are full of slow ass stiffs and it's very apparent when you compare to other teams. They need to fill out the back of the roster with some guys who can ****ing run.

Yup. King was a strange character but he also had a rocket launcher for a leg and was playing at elevation and they had him doing some weird **** that he clearly wasn't comfortable with.

Well, Olivo's press conferences were kind of epic and he had experience in politics. So I can buy that he got in a room with that genius Vance Joseph and just blew him away.

It still hurts that Olivio didn't work out.

McMahon is better than Olivio was. They found a return guy, the block in the back flags have gone down and McManus is kicking well, Wadman has lost his confidence and needs to go. It would be hard to find anyone to do a worse job than him the rest the year.

Also King was a head case, there was a reason the Raiders cut him and he isn't playing in the NFL right now.

They keep signing or drafting guys for ST's but most of them are the same damn position.
