And it's not like he was getting stonewalled. We did nothing to run the ball or slow that game down from the very beginning.
    please !

I personally think Lock is a raw product with a great talent and a set of skills that make him a special player I believe will turn him into a great quarterback.
He’s got everything to be successful and we’ll see it in these last two games of the season.
That will give us an idea going into the off season, what we need to do to build an offense to compliment him well.
I’m ok with his performance yesterday, he’s not a one-man team and given how bad the weather was, it affected both teams to the point KC only scored 23 points, albeit having the better offense and players on both sides of the ball.
        We will be fine...
I look forward to seeing the results of SCANGY and LOCK after an off season together and developing an offense that best utilizes his skills and compliments a team that THINKS its m.o. is to run the ball and play great defense.

Denver is going to shift from a defensive minded team to a offensive minded team. The offense is a lot closer to carrying the team then the defense.

that would be a huge mistake !
even PFM having his best season ever, actually the BEST O EVER IN THE HISTORY of the NFL SEASON !
in 100 years, PFM had the greatest QB season and he still got his arse handed to him in the SB by a team that builds off its DEFENSE !
2 years later, PFM wins the SB while having his WORST statistical season of his ENTIRE CAREER, because we showed up with a dominant DEFENSE !
run the ball , stop the run, and they give you a trophy with the name of the guy who said it first on the trophy !

That's technically true... but that's the problem...

              1st Q
              10 yard run
              3 yard run
              4 yard run

              2nd Q
              2 yard run
              -1 yard run

              3rd Q
              13 yard run
              1 yard run

That's it. Meanwhile, 40 tosses with your rookie getting the **** beat out of him.

              Inexcusable.

Down 2 scores at the half, and 3 scores early/mid 3rd quarter. I'm not sure how much different you can operate in that situation.

We need to continue to draft backs . Maybe a back like Devin Singletary who can get 15-20 carries and let Philip be more of a scat back 10. Both could be over 4.5 ypc.

You need to throw in the snow. Denver went with the predictable run on first and get stuffed when the D was expecting it and then creating 2 passes when the D is expecting it. KC got it, Denver did not.

I mean outside of this... maybe in theory. But this game wasn't an instance of him being worn down. He was forgotten.

KC brought the house and jammed at the line. Should've been screening constantly. Nope... shotgun drop, someone comes unblocked, nobody gets open in time.

                          • It’s a shame that freeman hasn’t really panned out to be the back we’d hoped. We need someone who can be more consistent grinding out tough yards

This - it’s hard to change direction in the snow

What we need is a every down RB. PL & RF aren’t getting it done.
