  • TIM PATRICK - #2 WR

4 catches for 77 yards. Over 19 yards a catch in his return.
Damn, this team needed a #2 WR to free up Sutton, and it’s looking like they got one.
This young offense is shaping up to be really good.

    Sutton-Patrick-Winfree
    Fant-Fumagalli
    Lindsey-Freeman

Now we just need a line and QB

one day, in 2021, when Scangs can put together 4 quarters in the same game, good things could happen.

Yep, there is a lot to be excited about when it comes to the Broncos skill position players on offense. We just need more consistency at the offense line, a decent quarterback, and and Offensive coordinator that doesn't turn into a pumpkin after half-time.

Also, at only 25 years old, Patrick is the oldest of that group you listed. People tend to forget how young most of the starters are on this team. There’s a lot of hope for the future, if this team can turn the corner and figure out how to win games.

Its too bad Hamilton has yet to show much, a good slot receiver would round out that group nicely

Patrick definitely commands attention on the field. It's nice to see and have to big targets that can get downfield. Fant is starting to command some attention as well, with his deceptive speed at that position. He's gonna turn into a match-up nightmare for defenses. Need more improvement up front, and see what Lock can do.

I really would like to see what Lock can do with these guys. Lock made his WRs at MIZZOU look much better than they were.

Always thought he showed the most of the WRs down the stretch last year, no matter matter how many 3 yard passes DaeSean caught. Intrigued to see more. Would love to pair two big above the rim types in Sutton and Patrick with a pure speed guy in the upcoming draft like KJ Hamler or Jalen Reagor.

We will have the money to go out and get another Sanders type speedster in FA. Patrick is a nice 3rd WR but I would be shocked if he turned into an 800 yard a year guy.

Biggest concern is if he can stay healthy, he’s been hurt a lot during his career, even got dinged up this last game.

Bingo. Patrick has legit PRO talent, but there is a reason he was an UDFA, and on two pro PS’s. It’s because he couldn’t stay healthy in college, and now in the pros. It’s also why we need to take at least one WR in this supposedly deep draft class(for WR’s), maybe two. Hell, take another TE too later in the draft since we seem to have trouble keeping them healthy also.

We need to take a WR in the top 3 rounds, you can never have too much talent at WR. Someone gets hurt, has a down year or etc.
