  • Short Week. Chargers up Next!

We have a short week, os discussion of the Chargers is now up.

Rivers and the SD offense played well yesterday. Of course it was the LESSER Manning, and the NY football Midjets, not Giants they played. But they do seem to be gelling on O and their D played well.

We won big yesterday but the Special Teams ( other than Prater) were not good. Defense allowed a lesser team to dominate the first quarter. There is no room for a letdown this week. The Patriots, Brady, Bellicheck and the officials are only one game back.

Time to try to keep the distance and maybe increase it . Win out Broncos!

Thanks for the tweet posts Gutless. I'm not entirely sure we want Trindon back. Bubba did a superb job back there yesterday. Caught the ball with ease too. Too bad that one run to the house got called back. All you had to do was stand there DRC, not shove the dude.

I thought the officiating was pretty terrible yesterday on the whole, but I was at the game so I couldn't see things quite as well. Three illegal block in the back calls in one game?? Come on now...

Well, at least San Diego's week is just as short as Denver's.

It's a "must win" for the Bolts, so expect them to bring everything they've got.

                        The Woodyard thing is odd.

He's been playing so well this year, with a very obvious dropoff from our D any time he's been out.

I wonder if something has happened behind the scenes.

I agree. I can't believe how stupid most players are. You know why the Patriots are so damn good every year, is because they draft smart players and are coached damn well. These stupid little mistakes are things that kill a teams chances of winning. Pushing a guy in the back when all you had to do was stand there and get in his way. Or how about the Browns, when they had the ball last, 2 different occasions on big plays they could have easily stayed in bounds and kept the clocking running but they did not, essentially leaving 60 seconds of time on the clock. Turns out, that's all NE needed. These are the little things that matter and this is why smart players and good coaches usually win.

Not to get all spiralism here, but this is the game that worries me. I hate the Thursday night and our secondary hasn't exactly looked stellar. Rivers has been ballin' this year. Never like shootouts.
