  • QB Controversy

Who knew that a qb controversy in Denver would be between Lock and not Flacco. Nice game Brandon Allen.

I'm going to wait until Allen keeps improving and keeps having better and better games before I think there's any real controversy between him and Lock. He did at least show he can be a solid backup today.

Allen was solid. Playing after Flacco made him seem like Drew Brees.

it's a good thing we keep paying these pointless retread QBs 20 mill a year when some guy named brandon allen can come in for 6 bucks and out perform all of them

Don’t forget about Mariota and probably Jameis too. Elway’s head is spinning with all the crap he can overpay that’ll hit the market.

Allen was not too shabby. I'm not going to get too excited about him after one game, but it is interesting that a guy who has never played a game can be better than Flacco. That really says more about Flacco than about Allen. It would be awesome if Allen turned into the real deal, but for now I'm waiting on Lock to be ready. Allen is going to have to ball out to keep Lock on the bench.

He really wasn't that bad of a QB his last two years at Arkansas...actually pretty solid to be correct.Got to watch him in person a few times then.He isn't going to blow anyone away with his skills but he does everything fair.

Allen was indeed solid. You know who he reminded me of? Kyle Sloter.

HAH! Bet you didn't see that one coming ... 😁

Defenses will adjust to Allen, but OTOH, he should develop better timing with his receivers as he gets more reps. Certainly a nice performance for his first real NFL action.

That's what they said about Kyle Sloter.
