Yeah, Oakland pretty much just ran up the middle on 1st and 2nd down, got to 3rd and short, converted 10 of 14 3rd downs. Too easy.

You guys know that 3.5 yards per carry would have been good enough for #2 in the league in 2018 and is a lower YPA than the Bears had right?

You must be one of those guys who reads the stats and doesn't watch the game.

Not sure why everyone's acting like Oakland dropped 40 on us.

Some holes to plug, sure. To be successful though, we need to win when teams are held in the low 20's.

Watched every second, and the 11 yards per pass attempt was by far more concerning. Yes, they were very successful in short yardage, but beyond that I'll take giving up less than 100 on the ground any week. If we had scored at all in the first half Oak wouldn't have been so comfortable with 3 yards and a cloud of dust. They really needed one major impact play to get them off game plan, and it just never happened.

On the first Oak TD, the ball seriously went through the hands of two Denver defenders. One of those guys makes a play on it, and the whole game takes a different turn.

Well, if you can rent a scissor lift for this weeks game so our HC feels more comfortable on the sideline, then he could see those holes that need filling, and we’d be in business.

Imagine if piss and **** had a love child. It would be our ability to stop the run. It would also be confused for it's twin' the offensive line.

Fair enough. I think my hopes were high for a return to dominant defensive play after a really good showing in the preseason. Right now we have the personnel for a good but not dominant defense which means the offense needs to score points...
