  • RIP Tim Conway

For those old enough to remember things like the Carol Burnett Show or the Apple Dumpling Gang, he was a great one. He and Harvey Korman were comedy gold.

He was one of my absolute favorites. A comedic treasure. His improve was sensational.

You know now a guy is good when other professionals can’t keep a straight face and stay in character because he is so damn funny.

RIP, and thanks for the many laughs.

Carol Burnett show was must watch in our house hold but I will always remember him more for the movies he made with Don Knotts

The Apple Dumpling Gang hasn't held up well but at the time we loved it and then there was "The Private Eyes". I had the library find a copy of "The Private Eyes" and watched it with my kids a couple years back and they loved it. My daughter was in either 7th or 8th grade at the time and played it for her friends and they were glued to it too. It was one of the 1st Laser Disks we got when my dad bought the system and we watched it often with friends during the summer.

                          RIP

As a fan of the old McHales Navy & Carol Burnett Show, I am saddened to hear of Tim Conway’s death. He made both of those classic shows better as a sidekick. One of the greatest compliments a comedian can have is when your comic peers think you are the funniest man alive, and that was the case for Conway. Harvey Korman and the rest of Burnett’s cast have said many times how difficult it was getting through a scene with him because he cracked them up so much they had to retake the skit many times to get through it without bursting out loud in laughter. RIP, Tim Conway.
