what a trainwreck- sorry to see that happen to Kubes, thought that team was going to be good for a few years.

the matt schaub experiment did him in.

It's really fallen apart for him this year, gotta feel for the guy.

I could see him getting another shot as a HC though. He's built an impressive running system there and had the team in the playoffs despite having a loser like Schaub at QB.

he probably should have been fired after the 2010 season.

Kubes and shanny back together again in 2014?

... more like the matt shaub loyalty.
not having arian foster to run the ball and an injury plaiged D didnt help either.
KUBES will be employed before the start of next season as long as he wants to accept a job.
shanny might hire him to save his bacon.

That really sucks because he's really good with QB's. A rookie QB coming into a good running team with his expertise would be a boon. I totally understand, though. The team was expected to be contending for a super bowl this year and completely imploded. If you finish behind the Jags you pretty much are toast.

I am curious if Shanahan is let go if they reunite somewhere else. I mean I guess Kyle would be Shanahan's first choice, but I'd love to see a reunion somewhere. I think Shanny was at his best when he was working with Kubes.

You don't fire your own son. He won't be joining the DC's

you mean when shanny was golfing on mondays while kubes put together the gameplan and 20 play script?
yes, thats when shanny was at his best.
