He was good last year but this probably takes them out of Amos' market, sadly.

Outstanding player, though ten years is a lot of mileage.

But they might play him as a safety according to Mike Klis.

Why? Jackson played all but four games at CB last year. You can play him anywhere and Fangio's heavy Cover 3 Zone defense is a perfect fit for him out on the boundary. I'd play him anywhere but single-high. He is playing corner for DEN.

"Jackson finished this past season with a coverage grade of 80.5, ranking 14th among cornerbacks. He allowed a passer rating of 75.2 into his coverage, ranking 16th. However, where Jackson shines most is against the run, as he recorded 20 run stops on 327 run-defense snaps last season, good for the third-best run-stop percentage (6.1%) among cornerbacks. Wherever Jackson ends up, he’ll make an immediate impact as one of the most complete corners in the game."

                Per PFF.

I say that because of the money he got, im not sure they can afford him, Amos, and James, along with some depth pieces. But Kareem is a good first signing, badly needed another corner.

If he's a corner, i guess they could still be in, but im not sure Elway is in on Amos after what Collins/Mathieu got but who knows.

I like the move. Not as splashy of a name as some of the other players, but a good solid vet at a premium position. Too bad Roby didn't step up enough in his contract yr. Makes it tough to reward that with a big new deal which he might get. It will be interesting to see where Roby goes and how much get gets. Broncos most likely are still interested in Amos, or a different safety. With all of them on the market and Anderson getting axed it seems like there is still an open spot.

Pretty expensive! I was hoping for half the amount but needed.

Only 23 is guaranteed. That’s a good deal for a starting CB.

Safety is not a need position. and certainly not a position to pay $10m/yr to when you have so many other holes.

Really good signing. Big upgrade over Roby.

He’s a CB. 23 guaranteed. That’s a steal for what others are getting.
