Because he was great, manning called and asked if it was ok to use.

I know about manning, just seemed strange because of his short tenure and mediocre stats. Way before my time though, so was just curious if he was a guy that was great despite his stats or if there was more to it.

That first year of the AFL, the Broncos had a couple QBs go down in that last preseason game. Tripucka was an assistant coach at the time and coach Filchock had him go in at QB. He was the first QB in AFL history to throw for more than 3000 yards in a season and he recorded the first TD in AFL history.

we should embrace new members , not harass them.
lets see what they bring to the DIALOGUE before desicrating their soles in public just because there aint a comma in their post count.
