I've found this site to be pretty good from time to time:

    http://www.techbargains.com/

You have to stay on top of it because sometimes the better deals go pretty quickly.

Stay home, shop online, avoid the crowds of stupid.

I usually look at www.tigerdirect.com first if I need computers with current specs. Or refurbished basic PCs, great for basic office work.

For something that's good enough to work and doesn't have to be flashy, I look first at my local FreeGeek thrift store, or a local build-to-spec shop ( www.enuinc.com ).

        Good luck and happy hunting.

Out of the blue suddenly I need two cheap laptops & one multipurpose desktop. Anyone come across any fantastic deals? Please share.
amazon.com or tigerdirect.com on cyber monday should have the best deals for those items...and no leaving the house.

Newegg.com seems to be the new hotness.

My "Black Friday" strategy for this year:

Lay in bed till around 9 or 10, make some breakfast (Bacon, eggs, potatoes), drink and watch Dr. Who and Top Gear all day in my sweats and a T-shirt.

Was big on newegg years ago. Less so since they started focusing on being a 'marketplace' instead of a reseller. Still use them sometimes, but there's better deals on Amazon 75% of the time, especially if you're on Prime.

Amazon prime is good on larger priced items. On little dinky things, you can get jobbed. They did recently start doing their bundling deals, which helps.
