  • Other Games

I wanted to rant about the Patriots and the AFC East and thought I'd do it in the "Other Games" thread, and didn't see one, so I thought I'd start one.

Anyway, I am sick and tired of how ****ty the AFC East is, and how easy a path the Pats have had to the playoffs every single damn year. Outside of NE, this has to be the ****tiest division in the history of the NFL over a prolonged period of time.

    Jets- ****ty

    Dolphins- ****ty

    Bills- ****ty

I know Pats fans will claim that the other 3 AFC East teams are bad because so many of their losses are racked up against the Patriots every year. I'd like to see how the divisions record against non-divsions foes since the year 2000. I bet the AFC East is lowest, and I bet its not close.

Matt Prater is a better than Keenum.

In 2002, the NFL went to the current 4 teams per 8 divisions format. I believe, with a little bit of research, I can compile the non-division record standings over that time. I am curious to see how this comes out, but I have a feeling the AFC West will fare well, with the Broncos, Chiefs have had many winning seasons since then, also, with the Chargers and Raiders also having mixed success over the last 17 years.

I plan on having this study done a little bit later today.

Pat McAfee needs to do more games as a commentator and jump to CBS or even MNF to make it a staple again.

Cody Latimer with a nice one handed TD catch for the Giants. Anybody know if the Giants win and we lose who would have the tie breaker for draft position

The Pats do play in a weak division, no doubt. However, the Pats manage to make it to the Superbowl time after time by beating the best teams when it matters most.

Home field advantage has its advantages.

Who is the best opposing qb in that division during the Brady era? Chad Pennington? It's been a cakewalk

I am a certified pats hater, bur you are exactly correct, they may have an easy path to the play-offs assuring home field P>O> games, but they have earned or cheated their way into all of their superbowls.
They do indeed enjoy a season in the weakest division in the NFL !

Not that impressed with Bridgewater so far. Yeah, a little unfair, but....just saying.
