Same goes for baseball. But Brock got a big 2nd contract and it's not going to shock me if Kyler is better than Brock.

Kyler could just as easily bust as pan out and no given he goes in the 1st.

Will Grier is going to be a stud in the league.

On a side note, how would the Mane feel about investing a 5th round pick in Kyle Shurmur if he is there? I know there are some big holes in his game right now, but he's been steadily improving, and there is something about a QB that is a coach's son.

How is this a weak QB draft again?

Lock, Grier, Murray, Jones all sound like promising prospects and at least a couple will be in play at or around our pick.

Sure that could happen to any player drafted in any sport.

It's not awful but theres no clear cut elite prospect there. Some good ones if coached right.

Unfortunately, I don't have a lot of faith in the Bronco's Coaching staff to develop a young QB. We will have to see if that changes during the off-season.

As things stand now yes, obviously with a new HC/coaching staff, that can very well change.

If Murray has a great career in both sports, no question he makes more in baseball.

Look at Betts. Similar size and position. Did some work on a modest contract for a few years, and now there’s numbers being floated that he could hit 400M.

That kind of money ain’t even close in football.

But it all comes down to if he can beast in baseball or not.

Whoever is still there in Round 2, because we're going OT or CB in Round 1.

Yep, the money in baseball now is crazy. And Betts will probably get around that, he turned down 200 mil a couple years ago lol.

If Murray is elite, he'll be well paid eventually, big risk either way for him.

True but when was the last elite prospect? Andrew Luck?

Murray is an elite prospect if you discount his height, and he has Mayfield/Wilson helping his case.

Daniel Jones has a Carson Wentz pro-style, small competition storyline.

Haskins, Lock, and Grier seem like typical boom-bust top prospects.
