I would still go Saquon as he has had a a rare season with 1198 yards and 87 receptions for 688 yards - 14 total TD's. That's exceptional for a non-rookie.

Barkley has had a superlative year by any standard - historic even. Mayfield has had a good year for a rookie QB but it still is about the 15th or so best QB season this year.
I guess if you are grading on the curve then QB is harder to play but, once again, that is not the award.
It seems the tweet you quoted conflated a lot of thing that did not belong together like ROY, positional value and "the right pick" (while tossing in Darnold)

baker has done more for his team than barkley.
Not sure thats how the voters will look at it, but regardless both are great aquisitions for their teams and I dont think either is the wrong choice.
