Raiders not slamming door on possibility of Khalil Mack trade

At a time when the Rams and Aaron Donald are on the verge of a record-setting deal, the Raiders and Khalil Mack could be on the verge of a possible divorce.

Per a source with knowledge of the situation, the Raiders haven’t slammed the door on the possibility of trading the 2016 defensive player of the year. That said, the Raiders are being coy with the teams that have inquired.

Recent reports have indicated as many as a dozen teams kicking tires on a possible trade. Four teams, we’re told, are exploring the possibility very seriously.

Whether a deal happens hinges on large part on whether a team can make the Raiders happy with compensation and Mack happy with whatever will be offered financially. With Donald possibly getting to $22 million per year, Mack may want at least that much, if not more.

Even for the Raiders... they sure screwed this one up fast. From trendy SB picks to laughing stock in less than a year!

Incredible how far they've fallen. Better hope Gruden has some magic in his bag.

Don't be suprised if Gruden trades away Carr too. They are movin and if Carr gives him one iota of attitude....he gone. Gruden can move to Vegas and "start over". He's got a 10 year contract. He can do whatever he wants.

Not as much as Von Miller. I know Miller has said Mack should get more than himself. But Miller is just playing the cap game.

Who cares, he won’t be traded to a AFC west team.

Never underestimate the flaws of Mark Davis.

I don't see Carr giving Gruden any problems. Carr is very coachable and has zero attitude.

It's more about Gruden giving Carr problems. A lot of people think Gruden is going to push Carr so hard he breaks.

Raiders are doing what they have to... they are cash poor until they move to Vegas so they don't have the liquid capital to put in escrow to pay his guarantee
