  • Klis: Broncos Defense Deserves Some Credit

Mostly rhetoric. Thought it might be a good talking point:

I just let KC fans (and the media) think that Denver has a bad defense. The pieces ARE coming together, and KC won't know what hit them...

The league doesn't understand the difference having Woodyard and Von back will make. There was a small taste of that against the Skins. The Chargers will get the first, full hit.

          I am loving Kayvon Webster.
Big, physical corner who isn't afraid to tackle and can play press-man.

          WIN.

What about Harris? Is he OK?

Harris is fine, said so on his latest blog.

Tough stretch of game for the next 4 weeks. I'd love to see this defense rise to the occasion and put some hurt on.

The Broncos face a bunch of top 10 Defenses in the 2nd half of the season (with middle of the pack Offenses).

It was the complete opposite in the 1st half of the season, as they faced a bunch of top 10 Offenses (and middle of the pack Defenses).

Don't be surprised if the historic Offense falls off it's record setting pace, while the Defense steadily improves in most statistical categories.

I don't think anyone would be surprised. The defense is getting healthier, as well and as for the offense, in the words of Ned Stark...
